Looking for online games for a teenage girl?

I’m looking for online games for my daughter who is 12 (almost 13).

More especially, I’m looking for an all American game, actually, as we have been abroad for three years and that my daughter is losing her English.

The perfect thing would be something that allows her meeting friends online with whom she could chat.

Thanks

Neopets has a good assortment of games and plenty of other activities and is interactive with others. She adopts a computer image pet and has many worlds to explore. She can join without your consent, but will have more options on the site with your consent. They are very safety oriented re: any under the age of 13! (link about this is below).

Gaia Online is more interactive and allows more creativity options and activities. This site stresses independence, individuality and creativity within a social experience. Teens love it. However, your daughter must be 13 before she can join. (So keep it in mind for future membership).

Both of these sites are free and make online safety a priority.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you!

Reply:it's cool and lots of fun.

it's kind of confusing at first but there are lots of nice members, and the moderators talk to you there, but sometimes they get busy. but they are nice.

it's neat to glue and lock your room, and you get a dressing room, and you can change your avatars and stuff.

lots of neat stuff. we upload our own music, and videos, and pictures to our own hompy that is a homepage in xivio world. its really awesome.

and they dont let perverts stay there.
Reply:um aim? (aol instant messenger) :D
Reply:Neopets. Virtual pets, but sometimes, people might get a bit hostile...
Reply:go to www.bigfishgames.com

for a mopnthly fee and a start up fee (i think) you can get a bunch of fun games

you should definitely check it out

but if you don't like them or don't want to pay to play you could search dress-up games on google (my sis plays those a lot and likes them)
Reply:World of Warcraft
Reply:You will love Xivio for her. It has parental controls and ratings. She'll love the site too.

It's geared for teens and tweens.

Xivio is a great site.

FREE to play, NO downloads!

Members can explore many rooms in Xivio World, main rooms, other members rooms, and their OWN room. (complete with a lock and a lease.)

There are MANY items that members can use to customize their avatar "Xiv", and their room. Their hompy (personal homepage) can also be customized with their own background, images, and colors.

They upload their own music, their own videos, and keep their own personal blog updated.

They can listen to music in their own room that they create, and let their in world friends listen and visit. Members customize their avatar, and their own room. New items are added often.

The site has ALOT of features, so when you join take your time, and ask questions.

there's like hundreds of games on there

or projectrockstar.com
Reply:\The people above are not really helping. The warcraft one is mostly for teen boys and aim isn't a game so I will help you.

Habbo (Habbo.com is a hotel like game thats all about chatting with friends and contains a few minigames.Different sites and versions of habbo for certain countries but habbo.com is all english)

Neopets (all ages.beginning at age 13 you can have neofriends, join guilds, neomail people and more. All English)

Myspace (not really a game. You can have friends, your own personal profile and more.Although, you might want to monitor your daughters actions on myspace for multiple reasons you have probably heard about. All English)

Gaia Online (Very fun game for teens who want a profile and a lot of friends.Lots of games and more. All English)

Those are all the games but you may want to check them out with your daughter to make sure she likes them and she may start playing them.
Reply:We enjoy Xivio too here. Its fun and safe.
