Connection problems with many online games.?

I log on/enter site, go to page I want to load, and after a while of loading it says something like "Connection Lost" or "Please Reconnect". It happens with the following sites:

And a few more. I don't get it. They say there is a possible interruption in my internet connection (unlikely), stale files in my cache (deleted them all), or firewalls - the only one I have up is Windows XP.


ANY HELP PLEASE?!

The connection is not stable. Check with your ISP and make sure the bandwidth they are offering you is actual or fake

Check your firewall %26amp; IE security settings.





The sites may have an FAQ page to advise on how to open your machine to allow connections.

Reply:It's not likely to be your firewall it would either block or not you wouldn't have intermittent connectivity.





It could be your Modem, Router or NIC card (if you are using one).





next time you connect to the site see if you can do and extended ping eg ping 192.168.10.22 -t or ping mygamingwebsite -t and see if the pings drop out. if you see hardware connection error then the cances are it is your nic card








You can do diagnostisics on your router, or modem.





I think that the issue is more likely to be at their server side I would contact their the gaming site and let them know what is going on and see if they can help. Also I would contact your service provider and ask them to look at the your link to the internet.
