is it true we must upgrade our wii before we can play online games..??is it also depends on out region/country to play online games??Thx

Reply:By "upgrade" all it means is an update that does not cost you anything. You just need to be able to connect to the internet (obviously necessary if you're going to play online). Region/country does usually depend on it. For example, US players cannot connect with Japan's players. For games that aren't released in your region yet, might not work either. For example, if you're in Australia and bought a US version, it probably wouldn't run on your Wii.
